How often should you wash your mattress cover
Washing your bed sheets regularly is a standard procedure. But what about your mattress cover? Can you even remember the last time you washed yours …?
How Often Should You Wash Your Mattress Cover?
Ideally, you should wash it every time you change the sheets. But even with our easy zip, machine washable covers we understand that this chore can prove a bit too much on a weekly basis.
As a result, we suggest washing your mattress cover once a month. However if your hectic lifestyle doesn’t accommodate this, aim for once every 2 or 3 months. Many people forget to wash their mattress cover at all so getting into some sort of routine is a step in the right direction.
Why is it Important to Wash Your Mattress Cover?
Making the effort to wash your mattress cover every month or so:
1) Maintains a clean and hygienic sleeping space
2) Protects your mattress interior
3) Maximises the lifespan of your mattress
