Read our Guru, Eve, Simba or Leesa mattress comparison...
Thinking about buying a new mattress? Let us guess – it’s got a really fancy website, a random celebrity endorsement and it’s the ‘best mattress in the world’.
When you’re buying a new mattress, you want to know it’s a good quality product that you’ll be happy sleeping on for years to come. Not if it was comfortable for the duration of the celebrity photoshoot.
So, we’re doing a side-by-side comparison without a frill in sight. The features, benefits and prices of the Eve, Simba, Leesa and Guru bed-in-a-box mattresses.
Mattress Comparison: Design
First things first, the mattress design. We haven’t compared every single design point because we don’t want to bore you. So here are the main features of these 4 bed-in-a-box mattresses:
As you can see, Guru has everything on the list, including comfort, support and breathable technology. The Leesa and Simba mattresses do not offer a removable and washable cover.
The Guru mattress cover is hypoallergenic and machine washable for ease.
Mattress Review: Benefits
Okay, now onto the benefits. Trials, warranties… basically elements that make the customer feel confident and secure in their purchase:
Neither the Simba nor Eve mattress offer factory-direct prices or in-house manufacturing. We cut out the middle man to deliver high quality memory foam at a fraction of the price of some of the other high street brands.
Everything is made in the UK at our Yorkshire HQ to save you money and lower your carbon footprint.
We know that it can take some time to adjust to a new mattress, that’s why we offer a 100 night sleep trial to help you make the right decision.
Mattress Price Comparison
So we’ve seen the features and benefits of each mattress. Now for the real decider. How much do these things cost?
*Prices correct as of October 18th 2017
Across the range Guru Mattress is on average £121.57 cheaper!
That’s £121.57 that can stay snuggled up in your bank account. Sounds good to us … so a little bit more about the Guru bed-in-a-box mattress?
The Guru Mattress
In case you hadn’t guessed yet, we’re the proud British manufacturers behind the Guru Mattress – and the only ones who actually make the mattress ourselves.
The Guru by Zen mattress features a base layer of supportive foam, topped with two layers of foam with cooling properties that help to reduce motion transfer. The top layer of 4G Aircool memory foam allows for better airflow for a fresh feel. The mattress is available in single to super king sizes with a soft to medium firmness.
The mattress comes delivered rolled for convenience.
We’re not saying we have everything. Nobody’s perfect. But we do think we offer the things which are most important when you’re buying a new mattress.
Things we don’t have:
- A really expensive TV advert
- Endorsement of a random celebrity/sports figure
- A mattress that we haven’t made
Things we do have:
- Over 40 years experience manufacturing foam products at our Yorkshire HQ
- So we have total control of design, production and quality control
- ...And the best value for money by a mile
That’s the end of our piece. You get what we’re saying – we want you to buy from us, not those other guys. Because our Guru Mattress is really good. At the very least a comparable product but actually a superior one according to our customer reviews.
Why? Because it’s blissful to sleep on, we make it with our own hands in our own factory and as such you save an average of £121.57. You even get a 100-night sleep trial to decide if you’ve made the right decision. If you don’t like it, we’ll pick it up and refund your money.
