Delivery & Shipping Information

Once you’ve chosen your perfect mattress, you’ll need to choose the right delivery option for you.

To make your mattress purchase go as smoothly as possible, we offer an easy and efficient delivery service. We’re dedicated to delivering your mattress of choice efficiently and safely so you can experience that perfect night’s sleep as quickly as possible!

Advice for Christmas Deliveries

If you’d like your mattress before Christmas we advise you to place your order before Wednesday 18th December for standard deliveries, Monday 9th December for 2 man delivery (flat, superking and collections) Monday 2nd December for Highlands and Offshore Islands.

Orders placed after these dates will continue to be processed as normal up to and including Monday 23rd December, but shipping is under the control of our delivery partners once handed over and may not be delivered before 24th December. As you’d expect logistics companies are extremely busy at this time of year so you may be more likely to experience delays. Please take this into account when placing your orders for Christmas.

Orders placed on or after 23rd December will be despatched from 2nd January 2020.

Here’s everything you need to know about our mattress delivery service;

 

Shipping options

Express delivery: Free delivery with orders £99.99 and over / £4.95 for orders under £99.99.
Orders will be delivered within 3-5 working days, Monday to Friday between 8am and 9pm.
You will be notified by our carrier to confirm the delivery date. Please note, delivery guaranteed to your front door only.

2 Man Recycle Service: With our 2 man courier, Furdeco, we can come collect your old mattress, deliver the new and take all packaging away. To make this more convenient we will call you to book in a date and time.

Chargeable deliveries

Our couriers

Hermes

Hermes is used for most small mattresses, toppers and pillows. Delivery window is 8:00am – 9:00pm with 3 to 5 day delivery window. Track your parcel with Hermes here.

Furdeco

 

Furdeco is used for large or flat mattress deliveries requiring two person services. It is also used for mattress recycling services. The courier will deliver the mattress within 7 to 10 working days. They will contact you with a delivery date and time slot. For enquiries, call 0121 285 5255, or enter your postcode to track your order with Furdeco.

DX

DX are be used for deliveries to Jersey, Guernsey and Northern Ireland. Delivery time scale to these areas is 3 to 5 days. To contact, call 0333 241 5037 or you can track the parcel on the DX website.

InXpress

This courier service will be used for Southern Ireland postcodes and European addresses. This company uses couriers such as UPS, TNT and DHL.

If you're not sure of which courier your parcels have been sent with or require further information, please contact our delivery team on 01924 847 322 and ask for option 3.

Accepting deliveries

When you receive your parcel(s) please thoroughly check for possible damage which may have been caused in transit. In the unlikely event your parcel(s) has incurred damage, then please refuse delivery of the parcel(s) stating the reason for the refusal. Reporting this type of damage after you have signed acceptance renders us unable to replace the damaged parcel(s) free of charge.

Signing for Correct Parcels

Please ensure that you only sign for the actual number of items you receive. We are unable to replace goods free of charge if you have signed for the incorrect number of parcels.

Also, please check that you have the correct size mattress before you accept delivery, the dimensions are indicated on the package. If it is not the correct size, then please refuse delivery. We are unable to leave unsigned goods for insurance reasons.

Two-Person Deliveries

Our courier’s insurance policy only permits the delivery person to carry your item/s to your front door. If you live in a high rise building, then delivery will be made to the first front door of the building. Deliveries are between 08.00 to 9.00pm. If you require delivery to the room of choice you will need to contact us to book a two-person delivery courier which is a chargeable service.

Missed deliveries

If you are not at home when the courier attempts to deliver, they will leave a card with details of the consignment and how to contact the courier to arrange for redelivery or, if it’s easier, to collect from their depot. In this instance please contact the courier directly. 

Packaging information

When you receive your Memory Foam Warehouse mattress, unless you have chosen a mattress that is delivered flat, it will be carefully compressed and rolled using the very latest technology.

This makes the delivery of the mattress to our customers simpler, safer and more cost effective. Over the next 6 – 24hrs hours, the mattress will 'revert' to its true dimensions. You should be aware that once you undo the packaging, the mattress will also become more difficult to move around. With this in mind, you will probably want to undo the packaging in the same room the mattress will be used in.

Our mattresses and toppers are manufactured in our own factory, using the very highest quality UK manufactured foams and fabrics, and are only packed on the day of dispatch. You can safely keep your mattress packed for up to a month after delivery. Our foams, Coolmax and Quilted fabrics are of the very highest quality, and will not wrinkle or tear under our compressing and rolling process.
