The bed ( a king sized Bali ) was delivered on Monday as I'd requested. It was securely packaged and came as six large parcels, two pillows, the mattress, headboard, the bed sides etc., and the metal frame etc., the last two of which were large and heavy, so two people would be best for taking the packages up stairs.

As recommended in the instructions, I checked the contents before beginning assembly, and discovered two problems: there appeared to be two flange nuts missing, and one of the base boards was damaged (the covering material looked as if it had been torn when originally packed)
I rang the Free Phone number and explained the problem to the very nice young lady, who told me the replacement parts would be in the post either later that day or tomorrow - but when I checked my email half an hour later there was already a dispatch note for the missing/damaged items.

Fortunately, I was able to continue with the bed assembly, which was fairly straight forward. I discovered that the "missing" flange nuts were actually present, they are already attached to the lifting mechanism and not in the fittings bag as I'd expected. The bed comes with an allen key and spanner for assembly - I found that the spanner was a little loose on the flange nuts, and so used my own small adjustable spanner. During assembly I found it useful to have a second person to help when attaching the metal frame to the lifting mechanism, and when lifting the mattress onto the frame - which has to be done while the bed is in the open position.

Early on Tuesday morning the post man called again with the promised parts, again very well packaged. The base board was slipped into place and the bed was complete.

The bed looks great, and we now have lots of extra storage space.
Opening and closing the bed is easy, once opened it stays up on its own until pushed closed.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy from Memory Foam Warehouse again, brilliant service - Thank you.
