Delivery Details

Mattress delivery will depend entirely on where you live. For the majority of the UK this means FREE delivery on all of our items. There are parts of the UK that are harder to deliver to. For these areas, please allow 1 - 2 working days for your order to be delivered. Please note that if your mattress is rolled packed on delivery you should allow upto 24 - 48 hours for the mattress to fully expand before sleeping on it.

Please note that in order to get next day delivery you need to ensure you place your order before 12:00 noon.

Bank Holiday Information

Please note that during bank holiday periods and due to the large amount of orders we receive we process all orders on the Tuesday after the Bank Holiday Monday and dispatch the orders on that Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday.

Important Information

Please place in the "Add Comments about Your Order" box in checkout any special delivery instructions. If you request deliveries to be left outside or with neighbours you are relinquishing any claim against Memory Foam Warehouse for missing deliveries.

Please note that if you cannot be home on the day of delivery, it is possible for us to leave the items with a neighbour. If this is the case, please mention this on your order comments so that we can pass this information over to the courrier. Please provide us with the neighbours address in the order comment box. Your neighbour will have to sign for the items as this is a legal requirement which serves as proof of delivery.

Accepting Deliveries
When you receive your parcel(s) please thoroughly check for any damage which may have been caused in transit. If your parcel(s) has incurred damage, then please refuse delivery of the parcel(s) stating the reason for refusal. Reporting this type of damage after you have signed acceptance renders us unable to replace the damaged parcel(s) free of charge.
Please ensure that you only sign for the actual number of items you receive. We are unable to replace goods free of charge, if you have signed for the incorrect number of parcels. Also please check that you have the correct size mattress before you accept delivery, the dimensions are indicated on the package. If it is not the correct size mattress, then please refuse delivery.

If for any reason you are not at home when the courier tries to deliver, they will leave a card with details of the consignment and how to contact the courier and arrange for re-delivery or, if it is easier, to collect from their depot.  Please contact the courier direct.

We are unable to leave goods which are unsigned, for insurance reasons. Please contact the depot as soon as possible as your goods will be shipped back to Memory Foam Warehouse.
Our couriers insurance policy only permits the delivery person to carry your item/s to your front door. If you live in a high rise building, then delivery will be made to the first front door of the building. Deliveries are between 07:00 and 19:00.

Packaging information

When you receive your Memory Foam Warehouse mattress, unless requested to be delivered flat, it will be carefully vacuum packed and rolled using the very latest technology. Discard the outer packaging and carefully unroll your mattress. When opening your vacuum sealed mattress, take extreme care not to damage the mattress.

This makes the delivery of the mattress to our customers simpler, safer and more cost effective. Over the next 2 - 4 hours the mattress will 'revert' to its true dimensions. You should be aware that once you undo the vacuum sealing, the mattress will also get a lot harder to move around - you will probably want to undo the packaging in the same room the mattress will be used in.

Our mattresses and toppers are manufactured in our own factory, using the very highest quality UK manufactured foams and fabrics, and are only packed on the day of dispatch. You can safely keep your mattress vacuum packed for up to a month after delivery.  Our foams, Coolmax and Outlast fabrics are of the very highest quality, and will not wrinkle or tear under our vacuum rolling process.

If I order an item today when will it be dispatched and how long will it take to arrive?

Certain remote UK mainland postcode areas, and non-mainland UK addresses may take slightly longer. If you think this may apply to you please contact us and we will be happy to check.

Can I request a time for delivery, and do you deliver at the weekends?
Yes, please contact one of our friendly sleep experts on 0800 612 5179 to arrange a delivery time slot or a weekend delivery option. Please note that there may be an extra charge for these services.

Does the courier charge extra for offshore UK deliveries?
Our couriers make an additional charge for deliveries to non-mainland UK addresses, eg Isle of Man, Scottish Island, etc. These deliveries may also take a little longer. Please contact us prior to purchasing for a quote.

Can you ship outside the UK?
We can deliver to addresses outside the UK. Please contact us prior to purchase to discuss your requirements.

I've paid for my items through Paypal, can you deliver to an alternative address?
Paypal rules state very clearly that items can only be sent to a registered address supplied at the time of payment. You must register any alternative addresses for family or work with your account before ordering if you wish to pay through Paypal, or alternatively please pay by credit/debit card.

My mattress has arrived but it appears to be smaller than I ordered?
Unless requested otherwise, most of our foam and memory foam mattresses are compress packaged and rolled for convenient delivery, so they will appear much smaller than they actually are. The mattress will revert to its original size within a few hours of being unpackaged.

I've opened my mattress but it hasn't expanded to its full size.
Some memory foam mattresses can take longer than others to reach their full size. Using the mattress will help it become supple and expand as it reacts to your body temperature. We ask all our customers to allow 24 hours from opening before contacting us with this issue as this will give the mattress the time it needs to fully expand and relax.
